Our Story

In 2021 we started making candles as a hobby. It has turned into so much more than we could have possibly imagined. We sought out to make the best quality candles possible. We had a lot of research ahead of us….. what wax to use, what fragrances to use, and where to buy our supplies? Needless to say we had our work cut out for us…….

The Wax: Options, Options and more Options! What wax to go with was the question. Not only are there many different natural waxes but each one of them have a different benefit. At the end of the day we went with coconut wax! Coconut wax high temperature melt coconut oil combined with natural say wax. It is a clean burning wax that is free of harmful chemicals. It also has a much longer burn time then your traditional waxes!

The Wicks: Once we learned about coconut wax and the benefits of using it over other waxes the choice was easy. On to the next part of the candle, the wick! At first we thought this would be easy but we soon found out that it would be much harder than we thought! Most wicks are dipped in harmful chemicals that create a large amount of soot. We wanted something that would not only look great but also burn free of chemicals and still throw fragrance well. After a lot of research and testing we found our wood wicks that have become a fan favorite!

The Jars: This became a challenge as well. We could have gone with a mason jar like most crafters do but we wanted to stand out. So we looked and we looked and we looked! We were having a conversation with a friend of ours about the struggles of finding the right jar and in passing she mentioned we should look into making our jars out of concrete. We immediately knew we were on to something! After a lot of trial and error we finally mastered the look we wanted.

There is more to the story but this gives you a glimpse into how much we have put into our candles. We have striven to be the best and know all there is to know about making candles! The goal of YOUR Candle Company is to make the best candles with YOU in mind.
